A 500 doller deposit will hold your spot for the up comming building season which ends in October each year. We build our boats from a veriety of materials. Basic construction is plywood coated with epoxy and fiberglass. Also marine grade adhesives are used throught out the building process. Joints are fastened with ceramic coated metal fasteners and reinforced with epoxy and fiberglass. Fiberglass and epoxy layers on the hull are warrented for 5 years against delamination so long as the coating is not penatrated. Bulkheads, transoms, and braces are screwed then faired in with thicked epoxy and reinforced with 3 plys of 6 oz or one layer of 12 oz with a finish layer of 6 oz fiberglass. Floatation chambers are sealed inside and out with thickened epoxy. We like to finish a boat as neatly as possible with rounded edges on exposed corners and good quality paints. Although there are several paints that actually do not require a primer, we like to use a good primer "just cause". We offer a choice of plywood from a/c pine to 1088BS marine grade. Other options include camo paint/ interior spray in bed liner/ bilge pump/ interior lighting and graphite coating on the bottom of the hull. Non-slip surfaces can be applied to the decks and floors and we can add a platform/ramp for the dog although our experience is that these boats sit low enough that a ramp is not necessary. Base price of the Sneakbox is $1500.00, the Heavy Ducker is $2800.00. Half of the estimated cost is due before construction begins. The remainder is due within 30 days of completion or upon delivery, which ever occurs first. We currently except checks, money orders or cash. We will soon be using Pay Pal also.
